Happy New Year... Thursday. 1.1.04 8:42 pm Things are always going wrong. always. It's the first day of the new year. Why aren't things better? Isn't this what is supposed to be happening?! According to [dis1girl] in Daphne's comment area, "the new year's like turning over a new leaf... maybe someone had a bad 2003, but they'll make up for it in 2004" But I have failed every year to be able to make it up. As Peter says in Office Space, "Each day is worse then the next, so everyday you see me, it's on my worst." Today for an example, (Steve) instant messages me, telling me to do a VERY personal favor not for him, but just to do it. This is awkward for me, so I talk to (Jane) demanding why she told Steve what she did, for there was a small story behind this. Now see, I knew it was Jane, because she's the only person between herself, (Tom), (Rick) and (Joseph) who could've ever known. For also, she had told me most of what Tom (who had been shitfaced out of his league) had told to Rick and Joesph who also were in the same shape as he. Now, I'm talking to Jane, trying to cool down, for I am pissed off beyond all hell's control. She signs off, and I talk to Rick. Now I ask Rick a small question about Tom, which turned into a very long, confusing conversation which, I could not repeat for it made no sense after going back and re-reading it. Now, I'm gone for most of the day, and Rick sits and bitches to Jane. He totally misunderstood the point of my question, and mixed it up with our conversation beforehand. So Jane gets frustrated with me, asking why I asked Rick a question that didn't even come out through my hands. I tell her that he got mixed up, and she said "now Tom thinks I betrayed his trust". Later on, I try to talk to her, but she doesn't answer. I feel bad. Grrrr. On top of that, I didn't even spend all of New Year's Eve with Zach, I spent it with Spencery and his family. And guess who Zach did spend his New YEar's with? Lillian, SPENCERY'S girlfriend. Is it just me, or is something wrong there? I drank sake tonight, for good luck, being the first of the year and all. Maybe I need a couple of days before it kicks in. I'm just frustrated. I'm so glad we have a few more days left of break. (Today's my half birthday!
